honeybee brought this back from his recent vacation in Japan. this is a famous traditional Japanese confection (菓子) from the Tokyo shop – ひよ子本舗吉野堂. Apparently, there has been many imitation of this little chick, but this is the real thing.

oh my my~ my absolute favourite everyday store is finally making its debut in America. I've been iching to go to NYC just for a visit to MUJI (and might as well go to Uniqlo a little down the street :P). I wonder how the prices compare to MUJI in HK. I love you, MUJI *muah*
